North South Divided

Now that Allan Lake has become aware of his success and duly gone off the boil, I've been listening to "North South Divided" on TLRC stations in the north and south. Mike Elliott in Sun FM and Alex Dyke on the Isle of Wight link up to double head a national phone-in programme.

I really like it - two pro broadcasters, two points of view, amusing nutter callers (as with all local radio phone-ins). I love it when callers start talking about local roads - fab. And they make no bones about it being a networked show, which is refreshing.

Worra fackin' liberty!

Disney asked for a discount when they bought something from my company earlier this year. Yes, that's Disney the international corporation!

Then a famous radio voice in London bought a microphone from me for about half the price of a new one, but couldn't afford a website (and we're only talking double figures).

One hour of live drama on ITV

Wow! A one hour live "The Bill" to celebrate 50 years of ITV.

Very exciting - and exceptionally ambitious - fast paced with hundreds of cuts, multiple scenes, loads of characters action, special effects, etc.

Rick Dees - New Website

Good on Rick Dees for launching a new website, with DDM (Dees Digital Network) playing commercial free music in a wide variety of genres. It's great to hear big band and swing with Rick Dees inbetween!

I need say nothing more than the incompetence of the KIIS FM webmaster and Ryan Seacrest's "people".

Main Hoon Na

What a great Bollywood film!

Major Ram Parsad Sharma, a brave army man disguises himself as a student and reaches to a college to find his step brother Laxman Parsad Sharma and to rescue General's daughter Sanjna from a mad court-martialed major Raghwan. In college he meets her beautiful teacher Chandni and fall in love with her.

It's funny too! Riddled with American influnces and English dialogue.

So there I am, at NBC studios in Los Angeles, in the audience of The Tonight Show, and I thought I'd snap a picture while I was there.

Who makes these office chairs? They're the ones the judges sit on at X Factor auditions, and they're also in the latest Yorkshire Bank advert. Any suggestions?
